While his name is Roy Buyuksimkesyan, he generally uses Roy Simkes for ease of use. He’s also called “radalin” in the cyber world which is his most common nick name with “Salroth”.

A software developer living in Istanbul, Turkey. Graduated from Kadir Has University. He has also graduated from a French High School named St. Michel.

He likes to play computer games. He adores role playing games. Baldur’s Gate, Fallout are his favorites. Also enjoys playing DotA with friends.

He was very active during his university life with a social engineering club (or student branch should I call?) named IEEE Student Branch. A student branch of a USA based engineering institute named IEEE as you may guess. But he was also wasting his time doing web sites for his university (branch’s, university’s technology fest’s,…).

He was a very active forumer during his rookie years in the university and used radalin as his nickname. He was a quite master with phpBB in that years. His hobbies are about computer games and reading fantastic novels (Tolkien and his friends like Gandalf or heroes of forgotten realms like Drows or legends holding lances like Sturm). With a few friends of his he also developed a FRP related site named Isimsiz Diyar meaning Nameless Realm in turkish. It was not dotcom boom, but had it’s uses. He learned quite a lot and had real fun making 100+ logos and making a random logo part to the site. Also it was a good practice for programming and graphical designing.

He generally enjoys writing software from Java to PHP(I really like PHP anyway…) and Javascript to .Net, he mostly enjoys being part of web site projects. He dislikes desktop programs as they are hard to work on a single OS and he hates to be left to choose betwen Windows and others. So he really wants to make programming on something which is “really” ‘write once, run everywhere‘ (He has started a crusade against different browser behaviours. One day there will be only, one browser to rule them all, on the internet, to take it back!).

He now works on a company named Parkyeri which he enjoys working and living as a ‘Yet Another Parkyeri Developer‘. He still lives and wants to keep living with “une belle femme” who is currently reserved a huge place in his heart
